    I agree, I tried in in Peak Design's San Francisco store and wasn't impressed. I use a Gitzo Traveler (albeit the limited edition GT90TT, which has higher carrying capacity) with my Meopta Meostar S2 80 HD with 30-60x eyepiece and a gimbal head, however, so it's not the compact tripods that are...
