    New ATC/ STC 17-40x56 Telescope

    I use an mm4 50ed on a pistol grip for those days I might need a scope but need ultimate portability. It works wonders, and at 17x all the way to 24x, doesnt ever need a tripod, and after that I'll be sat down and the monopod comes into play. Just food for thought

    The optics, coupled with the size blew me away. Having tried the abysmal Kowa 55mm Flourite lens scope, this looks far, far more competent in the optics department. The Kowa I'd rate as a 2 out of 10 for price versus performance.

    A video on the scope, and then some footage from the field through said scopes towards the second half of the vid. I am shocked at the quality. Punches incredibly high.

    Straight scope with a pistol grip is looking a mighty fine set up indeed. Might be in on this depending on the stiffness of that focuser.
