    I have had some success using a shoulder-pod with my (very) old Nikon ED50 and more recently with my MM4 60mm. The only drawback being the shoulder pod is getting a bit decrepit. I'll dig it out of the loft and post a photograph

    Ah, my mistake I saw "fogging up" and mistakenly thought it meant internally rather than on the external surfaces. Hopefully, this only occurs with big temperature/humidity changes (like getting out of the car on a very cold day) and is a temporary problem. sorry for the misunderstanding, I will...

    We won’t be sure until after October 3rd but I suspect that its balance will be acceptable, at worst. It will be useable on monopods, light tripods (for the weight conscious) and big tripods (for those leading bird tour groups) :)
