    Specifically, these were produced in Japan by Miyako Seiku Co., JB-32, and Musashi Kogaku, JB-34. Presumably, those marks can be found on the binoculars. Thanks, Bill. Ed

    Hello Bauska, Welcome to Bird Forum. The Swift 7x35 Model 712 Sportstar was marketed by Swift Instruments, Inc. between 1966 and 1969. In 1969 it sold in the USA for $70.95 retail. The attachment shows pg. 6 from the 1969 Swift Catalog. My records indicate that this model used BK7 prisms. Ed
