    If people are used to adobe products they will not like ACDSee simply because things are working differently with menus in different places etc. I am not saying it is the best product ever but it is a product that works well for me. Niels

    I have not tried something that extreme. I routinely use up to iso 6400 on my pana G85 - not known as the most noise-free camera around. Niels

    Noise reduction has improved in later years. I did test some of the plugins about a year ago and did not find improvements over what I could do in ACDSee. I happened across a review trying to compare with LR when using default settings and found ACDSee lacking -- I never use default settings...

    I use ACDSee and I have not seen a plug in yet that truly improves my result. Starting from a raw image: Open in the develop section. Do -cropping -noise reduction for higher iso images -sharpening with the mask being an important way to reduce application outside of the in focus areas...
