    Cost of transport

    Quote is far too high. Wild Sumaco Lodge offered us a transfer when we made the booking. Transfer to quito would be "WWS to or from Quito, $225" on their standard rates. If you can go from quito eastwards by public transport down the slope, rates will lower quite significantly
