    Can anyone help ID this bird

    Certainly a Nuthatch; it looks rather oddly plumages, paler than usual underneath for example. This could be explained by it being a first year bird, which would be paler. Similarly the dark crown might just be a photo artefact. Alternatively it might be an odd (aberrant) plumage. However, the...
