The TG-g is a very good camera but under certain, daylight conditions, it over exposes stuff alarmingly and even some subjects which have even slightly refelective wings, can prove a challenge!

Makes a mockery of my complaining about the remoteness of our ;location in Cyprus. I've gone from Nottingham where literally everything, doctor, dentist, schools, nursery, bank and shops, were no more than half a mile away to being 35kms from the hospitals and clinics. Some thing you don't...

Hope you don't mind Atropos, as we've seen some crossover with what you catch, if I put a few shots up for you to look at here and maybe suggest an ID for any of them? These are all from Laos and in all cases, I only ever managed 'sp' which may even be wrong.

Australian Moths and other garden observations

I had that in Laos too.

Australian Moths and other garden observations

I had this in Laos, you can see that I labelled it 'sp', is it the same species?

  23. Andy Adcock

Australian Moths and other garden observations

This makes my urban patch look a bit thin, hoping I can get some stuff worthy of posting when we get to Cyprus. This is a wonderful thread, would be great to get other members from around the World to start similar ones, showcasing their own species..

Australian Moths and other garden observations

Obviously related to our Chinamark species.
