    Paul hi many thanks I shall certainly give that a go ,the camera is great for landscape and the children I find and some of my pics are coming out ok , I am still playing with shutter speeds and the other settings and I think quite a few of my images would have been better if I had got these...

    Paul hi yes I would say always - except when layed in a field camping with the kids :) I've taken a monopod out a couple of times but by the time I've set it to the right height the shots usually gone so It now has pride of place in the Draw perhaps I should persevere with it more !
