    A very nice weekend trip in Moldova brought me a couple of great lifers: - Great White Pelican, a phantasic sight, more than 500 circling overhead - Sprosser - White-winged Tern - Red-footed Falcon, wonderfull view of hunting males, awesome! - Pied Wheatear, a pair, also very beautiful bird!

    White-winged Duck, White-rumped and Red-headed Vulture, Sarus Crane, Giant Ibis, Collared Falconet, Banded Kingfisher and, one of my bogey birds, Great Slaty Woodpecker were among the best of 12 lifers (plus 3 new birds heard only) on an excellent days trip in Cambodia last week. Florian

    Male Pied Harrier on the Red River Island in Hanoi last weekend. Not a spectacular sighting (i am new in Hanoi, so still manage to get lifers even near the city) but quite a spectacular bird to see. Siberian Rubythroat was the other lifer the same weekend, the above applies equally :) Florian
