    Totally agree Niels but as I said above, they seem to lack ambition, limiting themselves to squeezing the last drops of income by re-hashing, existing titles and producing the occasional coffee table book.

    Rather suspect that editions on each category, are possibly, already available from some niche publisher? I doubt that any of my contemporaries are interested in any of the above, the interest is wild animals, not how we've bastardised them to be more useful to us or to satisfy an aethetic.

    Birders don't generally like photo guides, do they? Lynx went to all the trouble of canvassing birders to see where the gaps in the market were, only to ignore the results.
