    Meostar B1.1 plus

Having had both....I found little difference between the two in eye relief, shaking etc... My wife wanted the 8 so we have the 8x. I should have kept the 10x for me, but wanted to check out other brands and ended up with a 7x35 retro for me. Not quite the 10x but hey, .... such is life. !

    Meostar B1.1 plus

Years back during COVID I had my hands on both the 8x32 and 10x32 B1.1...loved them both and should have bought both of them but settled on the 8x. Am thinking about the 10x but I have a Leica Noctivid 10x42 which I have to use, although might sell. I only use the 10x for hawk watching now.

    Meostar B1.1 plus

I haven't seen too many B1.1's for sale anymore.... at one time Meopta said they would be selling them in conjunction with the Plus, but I think it was for only as long as their current B1.1 stock was around. I do see where some sites offer a 2-3 week delay, so perhaps they are still around. But...

    Meostar B1.1 plus

From what I have read from Meopta, this forum etc...the B1 Plus is just a filler until the B2 comes along. Although the B2 I am sure has been delayed heavily by COVID so perhaps not until 2022 until we get a glimpse of it. Then the new MeoAir line ( which is still not out) will be their $1000...

    Meostar B1.1 plus

Interesting gcole.... I haven't seen a B1.1 Plus yet...but was tempted to order a 10x42 since they don't have the Plus model in 10x32. I have worked with the B1.1 10x32 and I do like it. The only negative is that it is a bit 'darker' so I was thinking of moving up to the 10x42 in the Plus...

    Meostar B1.1 plus

I applaud them for being 'unique'.... I know Maven has done much the same and kudos to them as well. While not a huge market, it is a market and both companies are testing the waters.

    Meostar B1.1 plus

I think the real deal in terms of change will be the B2 Series, if and when that starts to roll out down the road. My take on the B1 Plus is just a way to slowly raise prices and consolidate the line-up. When the B2 comes out, the price and quality might be more in line with today's Alphas'.

    Meostar B1.1 plus

The Meostar has upped the Meostar to a B1.1 Plus..... I am assuming it is not much different from the B1.1 as the B2 is still 'off', to arrive some day far down the road. Anyhow see or hold a B1.1 Plus yet? ...not sure if they are even in stock yet. For the money, I am sold on the Meostar line.
