    Thank you! However South Island Robin is mentioned as "Uncommon endemic" at The Hand Guide to the Birds of New Zealand by H. Robertson & B. Heather (3rd Edition, 2015)

    Thank you! I also think that it is South Island Robin but it is uncommon bird and Tomtit was mentioned as common bird at this region - so I ask other people for their opinion.

    Please, can anybody help me with the idnetification of this bird? I supposed that it is Tomtit, however I don't see white wingbar. So it most resembles South Island Robin. I observed it at South island at Routenburn track. Thank you for help! Ivan
