    Hello, Harper island is just outside of Cork to the East, and a bit further but to the West there is The Gearagh, which I only visited briefly last month but liked it a lot. Cape Clear, Baltimore, Skibbereen , etc are great too...just bear in mind that driving time is longer than the distance...
