    Hearing aids for hearing bird calls

    Can you tell me how that 'tailoring' went? I'm using my aids almost exclusively for birding and had them programmed for more higher frequencies when I got 'em, but I think it's not quite optimal at the moment. I'm using them for almost 5 years now and have never returned for 'maintenance' so...

    Great to find this tread. For me hearing loss unfortunately is a genetic thing. In my family almost everyone has it in some sort of way and I already got treated for it in my teens. As a birder it's really confronting when not hearing the Tree pipits on your migration spot when everybody else...
