    With the bridge camera you might have been getting away with simply focusing on the bird. In the dSLR world the depth of field is less, so now you want to make sure to focus on the head and as close to the eye as possible. This is one of the things included in that learning curve. Niels

    In between superzoom and the APC cameras you also have the micro-4/3 cameras, from Olympus and Panasonic. I love my pana-leica 100-400 (which gets you about the same field of view as you would get on the d7200 or d7500 plus the Tamron 150-600G2 (or sigma 150-600 C). Niels
