    Hi Joachim, No, I have not tried it on the moon. So at this moment, I should be cautious. I can't affirm that this device will work for celestial objects, but I'm pretty certain it will work for birding applications (and Nikon Digiscoping). My horizon is not great here and It's bright day now...
