    A pair of Softshell turtles and two pair of Red eared turtles. All close by each other. They are extremely wary. Zeiss VP 10x25. Mike

    The neighborhood black bellied whistling ducks and the nesting yellow crowned night herons in a pine tree in my yard.

    What did you see in your binoculars today?

    The red shouldered hawks are building a new nest (or refurbishing their existing nest) in a tree in my yard. Lots of close up views of the birds selecting and flying up and away with suitable branches. Various bins.
