    I also saw the Oriental Turtle Dove. A very rare vagrant for the Netherlands.

    I saw an overwintering great grey shrike somewhere in the north of the Netherlands with my so loved EL 12x50.

    Absolutely. Especially the snow bunting. Not shy at all.

    Went to the Wadden Sea this morning and saw 3x snow bunting. Also saw some purple sandpipers, rock pipit, hen harrier, smew, pintail, white tailed eagle and flying bittern. All with my EL 12x50. Did I already say I like them?

    I am jealous. We do not have hummingbirds on this side of the ocean. I loved seeing a couple of them in the US/Canada. At the moment in our garden only great tits, blue tits, finches, blackirds and occasionally a great spotted woodpecker or a redwing.

    Blue heron without a head on the roof of our neighbours. Token through my SLC 8x42 and VPA.
