    Seagull chicks were still sleeping in the morning, so I took a pic. They're to the left on the roof. Mom or dad is standing guard.

    Currently in the south of France on vacation and I saw a pair of seagulls with 3 chickens. The small ones were all sleeping on a roof. No nest. Never saw anything like it. So cute. If they do the same thing tomorrow, I have to take a picture.

    Went for a walk with the family through an old quarry and saw two lovely water snakes (natrix natrix). Took a pic of one of them through the Kowa BDII I had with me.

    Very possible. All I know is that Michael Stoscheck, CEO of "Brose Autoparts" (here in Bamberg), has one of these. I guess he has friends, who also own them. Looks like they formed a "Schwimmwagen Club" :D.

    Probably the strangest thing I ever saw on the "Main-Donau-Kanal" in front of our house. A fleet of amphibian cars swimming by. Grabbed my nearest bino (an old 7x35 EWA) and shot a short clip. Sorry for the low quality. It's a cheap phone and even cheaper bino. Still such a unique sight that...

    Having quite a few super wide angle binos, I never thought I'd enjoy my little skeleton bino so much with a measly 5° in an 8x20.     A robin singing, amongst others. I'm currently on vacation in the Lüneburger Heide, a nature reserve in the north of Germany. I think it was also the first time in my life that I saw a common adder.

    The lovely pigeon-pair living near our garden for years now (I think they built a nest once in a tree in the neighbors' garden) was quite pleasantly surprised that I put some bird food on the grass beneath the feeder. Pic taken through my Fuji HC 8x42. I really like that bino.

    We took a trip to Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze. And I took this pic of a duck (through the Fuji HC 8x42) when we were back down and took a walk around the Eibsee which is near the valley Station of the cable cars going up the mountain.

    Took a little walk today with my wife. Took the DDoptics Pirschler 10x45. And saw a great egret in a lake. When he saw us he decided to take off. I snapped a q'n'd pic through the bino.
