    Different focus setting

    I have a Sigma 150-600, on a Nikon D7200. I am very pleased with it. There 3 settings on the lens for focusing at different distances, Full or 10m-infinity or 2.8m - 10m. As the lens focuses very quickly what is the advantage and main use of these settings?
