    I had a chance to see these at Minsmere today where I volunteer as an optics adviser. They are indeed priced at £599 and a prominent sticker says Made in China. They are rather weird to hold with the focus way down at the objective end. The apparent field of view was good and the optics overall...

    Came across these while perusing the Viking products site. No pricing info yet and specs a bit patchy but f.o.v. looks like a deal breaker for birding, only 4.2 degrees. Not sure why the 10x30 IS monocular Viking offer wasn't developed to a 10x30 IS binocular. Details...
