    buff breasted still there. no sign of the pecs while we were there. star bird for us was the barny it was hunting all morning:t: also ring ouzel went over the sand dunes the place was full of birds ..good stuff:t::t:juv black tern back again

    whittle dean had 1/2 hour here today but couldnt find the yellow wags nor could 2 other lads there. did see a hawk of some sort getting chased into a barn but couldnt see it inside only a wren and a rat doing a high wire act on the rafters .but worth the trip through for the close ups views of...

    swallow pond had a early try for the pallas`s warbler this morning but only got this funny looking willow warbler;) best i could do it was going around like its bum was on fire:-O next to wood screen

    st marys went to the lighthouse with wife and kids and was dieing to have a look for the Garganey. heard lots of moans and groans when i said i was going for a quick look on the way out but could not see it. did get gannet and kittiwake over the sea:t:

    black grouse black grouse pretty close to the road on Coalcleugh moor near Carr shield plenty of golden plover around in there summer best:t: weather was a bit quick on the draw:eek!: one minute sunny next a blizzard

    cresswell and back to some sighting==cresswell today one snow bunting thanks to vipers pointing it out :t:50 or so twite .too many to count pinkies. 40+ chaffinches. stonechat.r/b/margansers 4 or 5 kestrels plenty reed buntings outside the hide

    hi gill its easy to spot the one legger on the lake its the one going around and around:-O we hate the crowds and never go anywhere at midday its always get there for sun up or before:t: the brambling never went far from the car park...
