    Derek, I normally look at your pics that you post & think, yep, that's a canny picture, but I don't know if you've changed lenses technique or whatever but these latest pics of the shrike & owls are so sharp clean & crisp, there outstanding mate, absolutely top drawer.     Lovely shots again Gary. I'd gone over early morning as i was expecting a "few" people to be there later on. There was only about 5-6 of us there in the morning and had great views it in lovely morning sunlight. I may get round to posting some pics but seeing how i haven't even done the racing...

    GG shrike showing well in dunes just north of the car park opposite cresswell causeway. Getting harassed quite a bit by the smaller stuff. Also avocet, yellow wagtail at causeway & pintail at the pools. Good day so far! Regards Rick

    Gossy park is a lovely walk & i've seen some good stuff in there & living in Westmoor it's very handy for me, but to almost double the subscription rate in 1 year was too much for me so i joined the national trust instead.

    They were there early afternoon feeding on the white rowan tree berries (at least thats what i was told it was) at the back of the church. Counted about 55 of them and got lovely views of them in the good light that we had today.
