    NTBC Trip to Kielder Sunday 22nd March got Goshawk, Common Buzzard, Raven, Crossbills, Siskin, Kestrel, Goosander, Curlew, Mandarin Duck, Dipper, possible Hen Harrier, Sand Martin and Swallow. plus loads of more common species. Large turn out 26+ members, good craic.

    Powburn knowledge needed I was looking at a map around the Powburn area and noticed there are a few flooded gravel pits either side of the bridge. Is one allowed to walk this stretch of river and is there much to see here. It does look a really good patch. Thanks
