    Did anything come of the Helsinki Azure Tit DNA test?

    Thank you Hannu. I have since read that they gave 2 tiers to Azure Tit records in Finland - Tier One as pure Azure Tits, Tier Two as those suspected as having a some Blue Tit ancestry - this bird was Tier Two but both categories were classed as Azure Tits.

    A few years back now, but was it proven to have had Blue Tit genes? Weird to hear nothing at all.
