    Yes access will be over that bridge but then it is 50 yds or so out from there, perpendicular. Currently it looks like a stonehenge of posts. Presumably will have a panoramic view and I would hope the path will be screened.

    Spent a rather dreary day at Westhay and Ham Wall yesterday. Very quiet both in terms of people and birds, but saw Water Rail, GWE, Little Egret, 2 female Goosander and a lot of coots mating. Only raptors around were buzzard and kestrel, lots of goldfinch, various other ducks and one bittern...
