    Aha! I've been a few times over the years (first saw Franklin's Gull back along a way!!!) and usually arrive at the entrance near the tower, so as I know this entry, I'll probably stick with that and walk towards the sailing Club. Not sure what time, but we'll leave Petersfield at about 9.30...

    Chalky, Thanks for that. Happy end-of-year to you too! I'm coming west from Hampshire, so I'll try to drop in and see the RND, which I need to beat my year record! Leaving it a bit late I know, but 1st Jan is a New Year, and a new start.... Jon
