    The modern day lust for plastic soffits/guttering etc. and gardens being block paved/ decked could well be the reason for their decline...if not, it wouldn't have helped ;) I live on a housing est. near the centre of South Shields and we have 30+ spuggs visiting the feeders daily, I estimate...

    This "slacker" couldn't respond to your text this evening until later due to beeing in a meeting this evening regarding improving the ST area. But the best bet is the mid tide mark here for closer views, the plovers take off for the Rifle range field normally above this tidal state. And good...
