    Durham sightings Took these pictures in Durham on Saturday assuming they were Buzzard however one of our local notaries has stated they are a Red Tailed Hawk . I've checked local falconry's who have not reported any escaped birds. Any thoughts anyone?

    Hedleyhope Fell Meadow Pipits everywhere, 5 Skylarks singing, 1 Short Eared Owl Hunting, 20 or so Curlew-vocal throughout the fell. 1 Swallow,1 Wheatear 3 Chiff Chaff. 3 Partridges. Cornsay Colliery 2 Redwing and about 150 Fieldfare It felt as if Spring had Sprung at last.

    Ray The Bank vole made one appearance while I was there. There was one Robin not ringed so they've still got some catching to do. :-O
