    CliveP, Did you notice loss of sharpness contrast etc beyond, say, 250 metres- please see the original post?

    In his original post Oetzi commented that distance objects - such as a castle 4km away - were unsharp. Is this the consensus? Can some users say if this has been their experience too, or not?
