    Great run this morning. Usual sightings of; blackbird, great and blue tits, robins, magpies, crows, wood pigeons and jackdaws. With highlights being; Treecreeper Parakeets Little egret Small flock of long tailed tuts Small flock of goldfinch The snowdrops are in full flower and the wild garlic...

    Quick stroll round yesterday. Highlights were little egret, grey wagtail, pair of cormorants, couple of grey herons, lots of corvids including a good number of jays, just one lesser black backed gull in a large number of black headed gulls.

    Great walk today - many fledglings still being fed, territorial males and families :) There were a pair of GC grebe on a nest - is this usual for this time of year?

    Got a great sighting of the Bar-headed goose today :) There was also this: larger than a Canada goose, with a pinky orange bill with a white stripe above. Is it just a Canada hybrid? I’ll post it on the ID forum as well.

    Hi Where was the bar headed goose? Was it on the pond with the Canada and greylag? I would like to see one :)

    Great walk today - no great white but highlights were. Shoveler, pair gosander and two great kingfisher sightings. Light was not good for photos unfortunately!

    We walked the area about half one - saw 3 little but no great white :(

    Brilliant video �� Back from my hols on the South Coast. Great birding at Rye Harbour. Broke my arm at Pett Levels. So interesting times!

    River was very low - less than 50cm on the ford marker. Wondered if this will change the habit of the kingfishers?

    Had a sighting near Sarehole Mill today :) It was the other end by the car ford. Was perched on a tree by the side of the river then flew over the ford and under the pedestrian bridge!

    The GC grebe family have left the nest, but not each other!

    Lots of fledglings today - mainly blue, great tits, chiffchaff etc. But great to see a pair of grey wagtails had successfully raised one and I think this is a fledgling gold crest?

    On the pond yesterday. There were quite a number of greylag, but we could only see one chick, anyone know if they have successfully bread before?

    The nuthatches look like they have fledged. But the woodpeckers are still present - not sure for how long!
