    Eventually I will get there in June...but I am passing right over the state in another week and thought it would be just as easy to stop at that time and spend a day....

    I have a chance to stop off in ND for a day or so,. ...early Oct. I am thinking about flying into Minot and birding Des Laks. Again, just for a day or so. But in Oct would the usual sparrow / ground birds etc be around to view. I am looking for bairds, upland sandpipers, vespers, grasshopper...
