    I have followed this thread with interest. I was just wondering what happens when the SX60 is zoomed out to 50x rather than the full 65x. Does the camera then compare with the SX50 for image quality? Just a thought, because if it compares I would definitely be interested. Better video, better...

    Does the built in flash automatically pop up or does it have to be raised manually as with the SX50?

    I'm interested ... very interested. The option for a external microphone, 65x zoom and 60p video are key to me. I have the sx50. Sometimes the 24p video seems a little jerky. I hope the 60p resolves it. Here is a link to the sx60 manual for those who are not lucky enough to own one yet...
