    I would test the IQ with and without that filter. I have yet to see a test where the filter did not noticeably diminish the IQ. (but your filter might be that rare quality that beats the odds). Niels

    The D800 shot seems over-sharpened/over-processed to me to an extent where I would be ashamed of publishing it. I prefer your image with the tammy. Niels

    I do not understand. Most times at 600mm or longer, the depth of field is so narrow that most cameras benefit from stopping down. A full frame camera has narrower DOF than the corresponding crop camera ,,, What you wrote seems more applicable to wideangle lenses. Niels By the way: sigma has...
