Just re-read this as I recently parted with this camera. Now I collect optics and hate parting with them but I sort of kept it in the family. Last year I purchased my other half a Samsung camera (7x optical zoom) which proved a little tricky to use. So I swapped for the point-and-shoot Z5 and...

Never knew there was such a mag Henry - I'll have a look - Kyocera per chance?

I repeat again, this camera is exactly what you'd expect it to be when working indoors - poor!- the autofocus works really well in good/natural light - the camera shop owner has possibly never bothered testing the camera in a "real" environment. I'm all for criticism, and critical reviews, but...

Well it depends what you want to use it for. IanF uses the Panasonic (I think) assuming it's the high zoom model with stabiliser. Not sure about the Sony or the prices. I'm sure Ian and I will meet up again, and then can do a comparison test? Depending on what camera you already have. I...

Hello all - I've owned this camera for 15 days now. My major gripe is the fact that Konica Minolta UK sent out a batch of these to Warehouse Express with no user manual included. They then offered to sell me one for £10! Eventually, and to date, I have received four! - 2 from Minolta and 2...

Welcome to BF Jean Jacques  Mine is awaiting pick up at a local mail depot. Interesting post Jean Jacques - I will not now have a chance to play until Thursday night. I care not for point & shoot indoor cameras, so that will not be an issue, I have SLR and compact & other digitals to...

Sick of looking for deals! - some sites offer 2 year warranty. I needed some other things, SOC for my Nikon ED78 (Opticron Imagic 80 is the equivalent or nearest fit), a hide clamp (Opticron half price offer) and a tripod/carrying strap. So ordered from our good friends and sharer of my salary...

Update: So far there are several people advertising them but not having them in stock - inc. WE! Then there are those who have them but for well over £300. Next there are those selling them but not interest free (my favourite) and finally... those selling them but will not deliver to work...

I had a play with one in a local camera shop. The zoom was very smooth and the camera felt good - more SLR-like, which to be honest is the first time I have said that and now onto my 5th digital camera. Of course messing about in the shop does not constitute a test. the dim-ish light was good...

Aaaarrrgggh! I started this same thread a week or two back - must have perished in the system destruction! There are no reviews of this yet - even on the usual sites, so hoping someone on here might have got one. Not to worry, a wee bonus at work has given me the chance to get one this month...
