    Visited La Janda this afternoon; highlights were:- Great Reed Warbler Whitethroat Roller (one on overhead cables) Glossy Ibis (approx. 200) Turtle Dove (one calling) Quail (two,possibly three calling)

    I always look at this thread as I visit the area occasionally and narrative style for me is much more interesting and conveys far more than a simple list with numbers. Tony
