Disinfected the nest box today, found one dead chick inside, riddled with maggots. I hope we get some more next year. (Not maggots, blue tits) Having said that do they have more than one clutch in a year? Also do they use the same nest box again?

Zomerset, I was up at the crack of dawn, about 05.30. Okay So I'm a sad old man, but I think I caught the last one to fledge about 05.45. Saw one go in and two come out. There has been no activity since then. So I am pretty sure they have all gone. I will miss them!

Thanks for that Phil, I don't know much about birds. It's just been fascinating watching these blue tits perform. It would be the icing on the cake if I actually saw them fledge. They actually occupied the bird box the day after I erected it, which I thought was pretty amazing.

Hi folks I'm new on here. I need to know when my Blue Tits will fledge I have been watching for the last 2, 3 days but the adults are still bringing in food.
