    Not sure kid I will research it. Funny enough when we twitched the great knot at Titchwell a few weeks back (best forgotten 8-P) there were sedge warbler singing all the way down the path to the beach. Paul Eele the warden there said they were probably on 2nd broods.

    Alright Dave . Re sedge warblers. I noticed a couple of weeks ago a sudden increase in sedge warbler song and feeding of young at upton. I wonder if they are fresh in moved in from somewhere else or on 2nd broods. It seems to happen every year at same time. What's your thoughts. Could also be...

    Dave are there many rowan trees/bushes around your place. We used to get good numbers, ie 45 at Upton when the NM plantation was in its infancy and the rowans were ladened with berries. I will check out the few remaining trees tomorrow. B (:John

    Dave I wonder if it was one of the 3 birds seen at Upton on 12thMarch. Perhaps it was frozen out and has now returned. They will be moving out soon, I think our bird went tonight. It got up high calling and flew off to he east just before 7pm. B (:John
