Cuckoo calling and showing very well this morning behind bird hide also startled a sounding very much like a goshawk my first sighting very noisy as it flew off on canal path just up from canal bridge before meadow circled a few times in meadow before crows chased it way- mick.

3 cuckoo’s 9am this morning putting on a good show outside bird hide by bench chasing in and out of trees for 10 mins then took off towards house. A joy to watch .Did see two there Saturday same place .- mick.
