    Thanks for the overview on the autumn migration Dave, as you say its great to find a noteworthy bird on your local patch that maybe a regular on the "hotspot" reserves in the county.

    You allways seem to get a good turn out of species Dave, how do you think this autumn migration has been on your patch ? Locally for me the last couple of months have been totally dire hopefully get a bit more movement as the colder weather comes in.

    Yes, its a sad fact Dave, used to pick one or two birds up over my local area most years - but for the exeption of last years birds showing in the Chaddesley area it seems to be a bit of a "thing of the past" shame really a real little "cracker" of a bird. Glenn
