    Short-eared Owl hunting the fields this evening, Barn Owls new workings and Common Sandpiper Coleford North. Corking. John

    Redshanks are in. Female Pintail still on Colebrook North yesterday. Green Sandpiper again yesterday. Four Little Egrets flew west over the new workings at sunset today. John

    Raven up Dell Road from Moor Green this evening, sitting in trees calling. Earlier one of the local residents had noted its size and call amongst other corvids in the field west of Dell Road. It was an immature bird, no beard, worn tail but big bill and classic Raven Pruk pruk calls. John
