    Sadly, time has not been on my side but I did manage a Purple Heron at Calpe - on the Salinas - middle of town. Usual suspects - Sardinian Warbler, Serin everywhere and a smart male Redstart.

    Thanks Bafty that one is going on the list! I see that El Hondo even had Pallid Harrier, Sociable Plover the last couple of winters as well as the obvious!!
