    I have seen Great Reed Warbler in Sea Buckthorn scrub, mind you that was in Scotland. Waders will all be migrating at this time so your identifications are probably okay. Could the Warbler be Melodious? David

    Just came back from a week in Torrevieja. Covered La Mata on three days with a visit to Santa Pola on one and El Hondo with Graham Critchell last Saturday.     I am going to Torrevieja next month (April) so any news, tips or other gen would be most helpful. Bought the Graham Ctitchell book direct from his website and am waiting for Mark Palmer's A Birdwatching Guide to Eastern Spain from Amazon. Regards David
