    This morning, c 80 Lapwing at Sling Pool, and a Common Gull dropped in. Camp Lane pits quiet, 2 Little Egrets, Green Sand, the odd snipe and 7 Common Terns.

    North Worcs current premier spot continued to please today in the fine sunshine. At Sling Pool floods there was an amazing number of Lapwings, I was guessing 600, others 800. Fantastic to see. Wigeon numbers were very impressive too. There were a couple of Oystercatchers on site of note too...

    Most productive area today was the Sling Pool flood. Good numbers of Tufted Duck ( c30), Wigeon and Gadwalll plentiful and Lapwing numbers into 3 figures. 3 Green Sandpipers were present today there too. A buzzard was worming in the adjacent field.
