    Spent the morning at Grimley today and saw 44 species overall, with highlights being a male Pintail on Wagon Wheel Lane Flash and a drake Smew on Wagon Wheel Lane Pits which took flight several times and finally left. Chris

    I went down around 1pm this afternoon, unfortunately though I didn't see any Smew. However after i photographed some of the Goldeneye I noticed this bird in the background. Is this one of Smews? Chris
