    Called in on Sunday as watching cricket at Ombersley. 11 Dunlin, 4 Common Tern, 4 Oystercatcher and Common Sandpiper were most notable sightings. Great place to watch the Swifts. (Digiscoped Dunlin)

    Very quiet in terms of waders at Grimley today due to water level rising. Good numbers of Meadow Pipits on edges of field and hirundinidaes when overcast mid morning. Juvenile Shelduck was on the only unusual bird from previous visits. Nice to see Wigeon returning

    Treated to my first Swallow of summer this evening at 5.45pm at Grimley. Other highlights were 4 Sandmartin, 1 Redshank, 3 Pintail, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Chiffchaff. This place is a real grower.
