    Very quiet at Grimley Today with the only notables being a single Green Sandpiper at Camp Lane Pits, ♀ Peregrine in large field opposite Top Barn and c.120 Lapwing over the Island Pool at the Old Workings. There was no sign of any Chiffchaffs at the Old Workings today.

    Spent a couple of hours at Camp Lane pits this afternoon where the undoubted highlight was finding a Wood Sandpiper working it's way along the NW shoreline. Other waders of note during the visit were 1 Dunlin, 2 Common Snipe, 2 Ringed Plover and a Little Ringed Plover. 4 Little Egrets and 3...

    A cracking adult Arctic Tern was showing well over the North West lagoon at Camp Lane pits late morning. 7 Common Terns were also present on the main pool. The only waders of note were a single Common Sandpiper and c.40 Lapwing
