    Grimley and Holt

    Brief visit this afternoon to Wagon Wheel pits and fields around Grimley. Wigeon, gadwall and snipe on pits. Red-legged partridge in fields. Plenty of skylark flying up from ground. Very dynamic skies with wheeling flocks of jackdaw. Very autumnal.
