    Anybody used night vision binoculars?

    I wonder if anybody used night vision binoculars for any purpose and can comment, if they can be practical for watching owls, smaller mammals (eg. size of cat or rabbit) or large mammals on walking trips at night. For example: are they too bulky? is their resolution good? are they really good...
